Britian Experience a great Hurricane

Hurricane force winds of up to 151mph swept across Scotland today as storms battered Britain

police told people to stay indoors for their own safety.

Weather forecasters recorded what are thought to be the strongest gusts since March 1997 at the Cairngorms, as blizzards tore across the mountain top. In England, wind speeds of up to 107mph were recorded at Great Dun Fell in the Pennines while Manchester was hit by 67mph blasts
