About four months ago, Ibe suddenly developed hearing impairment, change in voice and severe headache and weakness of the body. He was seen at the Lagos State University Teaching
Hospital by a neurosurgeon who then requested for a CT Scan of the Brain. The report indicated that Ibe has brain tumour called Chordoma. The neurosurgeon then advised him to seek medical attention abroad.

Bayelsa State Appoints Patience Jonathan as Permanent Secretary

The first lady made history yesterday by becoming the first, First Lady of Nigeria to be appointed Permanent Secretary in a State civil service.

Explaining their reason for the appointment, the senior special assistant to the governor on media affairs, Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson, said that the First Lady was a teacher in the state’s civil service and has been on leave of absence since 1999 to join her husband in his political service; first as a deputy governor, governor, vice president, then president. If not for the leave of absence, according to him, Mrs Jonathan would have risen to the status of a permanent secretary by now.
Just imagine an excuse given for her appointment. did any one sent her to join her husband for politics?

SEVEN PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES LICENCSES SUSPENDED BY NUC

Following the inability of some private universities in nigeria, National University commission wednsday july 4th suspended the licenses of seven universities in Nigeira for violating it's guidlines on school academic and facilities programmes

The NUC say the suspension will be lifted as soon as the Universities live up to the guidelines stipulated by the commission in the running of Universities in Nigeria.

Here are the suspended universities Lead City University, Caritas University, Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Tansian University, Madonna University, Achievers University and Obong University.
