Wizkid pulls crowd as he throws 100k At Felabration,

The 23-year-old who attended the 2013 Felabration with his girlfriend Omotayo pulled off an unexpected stunt at the event when he hit the stage to perform; Wizkid threw two bale of N500 notes supposedly around the sum of N100, 000 into the crowd.

This lead to a huge fight amongst the crowd for the N500 notes, a fight which couldn’t be controlled by the stage security - as a matter of fact the security guards joined in the fight for the money.

The fight led to a stampede and lasted for another 30 minutes until the intervention of more security officials and show host Omobaba who pleaded for the crowd to be calm.

Lao Airlines plane crash

A Lao Airlines plane crashed today Wednesday October 16th killing all 44 passengers and five crew members on board. The twin-engine turbo plane was on a domestic flight from the capital Vientiane to the airport in the Champasak province in the Southern Asian country when it plunged into the river as it tried to land at Pakse International Airport. Passengers from 11 different countries were in the plane including three South Koreans, seven French, one American, one Chinese, one Taiwanese, one Canadian, five Australians and two Vietnamese.

State-owned Lao Airlines issued a statement saying the small plane ran into "extreme bad weather conditions" and crashed at 4:00pm (local time).

Olamide Postpones Album Lunch Because Of Samklef

Olamide who was supposed to release his album ''Baddest Guy Ever Liveth''  yesterday, had to postpone it out of respect for samklef whose album dropped yesterday.

Samklef and Olamide collaborated on a lot of records of their first albums and have a good relationship to date. the rapper had to delay the release date of his album by a few days because he didn't want to drop his album the same date as his mentor.

Olamide tweeted to his disappointed fans about how Samklef paid for his costumes in his first video and how they didn’t need to be competitors but partners.

IRS aircraft makes emergency landing

Another air disaster was averted this afternoon when an IRS Aircraft made an emergency landing in Kaduna. A Fokker 28 plane, carrying 89 passengers from Lagos to Kaduna, developed hydraulic problems few minutes before landing at the Kaduna airport.

The aircraft's front tyres refused to come out during landing, forcing the pilot to land without them. Fortunately no one was injured.

The Managing Director of IRS, Yemi Dada, later explained what happened to reporters. He said:

"The pilots received a low hydraulic warning minutes before landing, and this affected the landing gear, nose wheel steering, brakes, cargo doors, thrust reverser and the flight controls."

“On final approach to Kaduna today on our flight 3390 with 89 passengers, our cockpit crew got a low hydraulic in system 1 warning and decided to take precautionary measures to ask for ground confirmation that all gears were down and locked."

“The crew proceeded to land but followed procedure to disembark on the runway and not taxi in accordance with the procedure.”

He said all passengers disembarked with the assistance of a crane before the aircraft was towed to ramp. He also said the airline's maintenance crew is checking the aircraft to see what happened.

Oba Who Was Accused Of Rape By A Female NYSC Member Freed

The Alowa of Ilowa-Ijesa, Oba Adebukola Alli who was accused of rape by Miss Helen Okpar, a corper who was serving in his community as been discharged and acquitted. Helen dragged the Oba to court three years ago after claiming he sexually abused her. However, The Osun State High Court sitting in Ikirun on Tuesday said that the plaintiff, Miss Helen Okpara, failed to tender enough exhibits to convince the court beyond reasonable doubt that she was raped by the monarch.

The judge also held that the plaintiff, who accused the monarch of raping her at his private residence in Osogbo, failed to prove that she was raped. He said a case of rape could only be established with exhibits such as:

400 Passengers Escape Death As Saudi-Bound Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Sokoto

Another plane crash was averted this morning in Sokoko barely 72 hours after an Associated Airline crashed in Lagos. A Saudi bound Kabo Air plane carrying 400 passengers from Kano made an emergency landing at the Sir Abubakar III international Airport when its tyres exploded in the air immediately after take off. The Boeing 747 jumbo jet, left Kano on Friday en route Saudi Arabia but had to divert to Sokoto when the incident happened.

The passengers aboard the airline had been successfully evacuated from the plane and lodged in a hotel in the state.
